Main purpose:

• carrying out the day to day operation of the depot ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and as efficiently as possible.

Key responsibilities

• will be assisting other Depot Operatives, Keeping the site safe and tidy, general duties which will include a degree of manual handling.

Person Specification:

• competence to operate Mobile Plant is preffered, but no essential
• a reliable and flexible attitude is a must
• able to work as part of a team and alone.

All applicants MUST be eligible to work in the UK.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm
• Saturday 7am – 12pm.

BENEFITS:

9% non-contributory pension. Based on a salary of £36036, this is £3243.24 per annum. Based on auto-enrolment the minimum you would normally have to contribute would be £1489.80, and the total including the employers contribution would be £2671.68. The pension doesn’t cost you a penny and puts an additional £571.56 into your pension above the auto enrolment minimum.  

You will be given 21 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. This is worth £3654. The number of days increases with length of service, and you can buy additional days if you want to take more leave.  Discretionary annual bonus paid out in January and July, plus a December Christmas bonus.
